Doctor shot dead in Delhi's Gole Market area

New Delhi, May 28 (UNI) A doctor was shot dead allegedly by his patient outside a hopsital in Delhi's Gole Market area here this morning, police said.

DCP (New Delhi) Anand Mohan said 28-year-old Rajesh Abbot, a Registered Medical Practioner running a sex clinic in Paharganj area, was shot at by Javed Ali at about 1100 hrs.

Ali was arrested with a revolver after a brief chase by an off duty Constable, Brijesh Kumar.

Mr Mohan said Ali, a patient of Abbots since 2003, was not ''satisfied'' with the treatment as he was not getting the ''desired results''.

The accused, hailing from Nand Nagri area of Delhi, was tracking the doctor's movement for the past few days.

This morning, after Abbot parked his car near Gole Market metro station, Ali shot at him outside the Kalavatisharan Hospital .

He was rushed to the nearby Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
