CPI(M) Polit Bureau requests Centre to send relief to Indonesia

Kolkata, May 28 (UNI) Expressing grief at the divastating earthquake in Indonesia, the CPI(M) Polit Bureau has requested the Centre to send relief materials and other assistance for the affected people.

The party's highest policy making body which concluded its two-day meeting here today, observed that the quake, in which more than 4,000 people had lost their lives in central Java was shocking.

The Polit Bureau conveyed its condolences to those who had suffered in the natural calamity.
