TDP has no right to speak on agriculture : Congress
Hyderabad, May 27 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) today alleged that the opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) had neglected the agriculture sector during its ten-year rule in the state.
Addressing the press here today, APC official spokesperson Tulasi Reddy said the Party which was passive when farmers committed suicide, had no right to pass a resolution on the sector at Mahanadu which began at Rajahmundry this morning.
He charged the TDP chief and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu with adopting politically motivated policies during his rule.
Similarly, as the Opposition Party Leader he was trying to lure the farmers in the guise of passing a resolution on the sector, he charged.
