Kurukshetra, May 27 (UNI) Senior vice president Indian olympic Association and Rajya Sabha MP Tarlochan Singh lashed out at the Hooda government for its ''unprecedented'' muddling with the functioning of the sports administration.

''The so-called election of the Kurukshetra MP Navin Jindal as the president of the Haryana Olympic Association (HOA) was void and in violation of the laid down election procedure of IOA,''he said talking to mediapersons here.

The IOA would not give any recognition to the so-called new president of the HOA, he said.

Mr Singh said the Hooda government should devote its time to the developmental works in the state and try to improve law and order situation rather than bringing politics into sports.

Explicitly critical of the removal of Abhay Chautala as HOA president, Mr Tarlochan Singh said a very bad incident had taken place in the field of sports. ''Whatever has happened is very bad and unprecedented.'' The IOA would not recognise the new president at any cost, he said.
