Sania loses in doubles final of Istanbul Cup

New Delhi, May 27 (UNI) Sania Mirza and Alicia Molik went down tamely against Alona Bondarenko and Anastasiya Yakimovain in the doubles final of the Istanbul Cup today.

The Indo-Australian pair lost the match 2-6, 4-6 to the Ukraine-Belarus duo, according to information received here.

Sania, who lost the singles in the second round at the hands of Michaella Krajicek of the Netherlands, now moves on to Paris for the French Open, where she will take on 2004 winner and 10th seed Anastasia Myskina of Russia in the first round.
