Mulayam slams bureaucrats for ignoring people's grievances
Lucknow, May 27 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav today slammed bureaucrats for ''not taking interest in the grievances of common man.'' Mr Yadav felt the 'babus' were not needing to the various complaint letters people write to him.
In a bid to reduce the complaint letters received by the state headquarters, the Chief Minister today directed officials to organise 'janata divas' at district and tehsil level.
He said all tehsil level officials should compulsorily be present during such interactions. ''The local legislators and senior ministers touring that area would be invited to attend the meets,'' he added.
Such public interactions would also be organised at block level to help common man seeking redressal for grievances.
