Doctor dies, six injured in road accident

Rajkot, May 27 (UNI) A doctor was killed and six of his family members were injured when their car collided with a stationary truck near Dhrol, about 50 km from here, on Rajkot-Jamnagar highway last night.

According to police, the occupants of the car were returning to their home town Jamnagar from Ahmedabad after a trip to Delhi and Kashmir, when the accident took place.

The injured were admitted to Rajkot civil hospital.

The deceased has been identified as Dr B B Gohel, police added.
