Delhi boy finishes 2nd, Indian team 4th in Asia-Pacific Jr Golf

New Delhi, May 27 (UNI) Delhi boy Viraat Badhwar finished runners up while the Indian team stood fourth in the recently concluded 27th Asia Pacific Junior Amateur Golf Championship held at SICC Golf Club Singapore.

In the individual category, Viraat Badhwar finished runners up with a splendid performance of one-over 217. The youngster will now move to San Diego for World Junior championship where he finished runner up two years back.

Abhijit Chadha finished joint third in category B, according to information received here.

Meanwhile, the Indian team consisting of Amanjyot Singh, Rahul Bakshi, Abhijit Chadha and Rommel Mazumdar finished overall fourth.

In the girls category, Lavery Kumar finished sixth, Sharmila Nicollet came 16th and Vaishvi Sinha stood 17th.
