3 teenaged girls drown in river

Udupi, May 27 (UNI) Three teenaged girls drowned in river Shambhavi at Nitte in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka today.

Police said as many as eight girls were taking bath in the river when three of them strayed into a deeper area and met with a watery grave.

The deceased were identified as Nishmitha (15) and Pooja (14), hailing from Mumbai, and Ashwitha (14), a localite.
