Udit Raj demands Andre Beteille's resignation as ICSSR Chairman
New Delhi, May 26 (UNI) Indian Justice Party president Udit Raj today demanded that Andre Beteille, who resigned from Knowledge Commission recently, should resign from the Indian Council of Social Sciences Research as well.
''If Andre Beteille is a man of principle, he should resign from the chairmanship of the ICSSR as well and that will finally bring some credibility to his personality,'' he said in a statement.
Mr Beteille and Pratab Bhanu Mehta had recently resigned from the Knowledge Commission because they differed from the government's stand on the issue of reservation in institutes of higher and technical education.
