RJD MP Sadhu Yadav surrenders in court
Patna, May 26 (UNI) RJD MP Aniruddh Prasad Yadav alias Sadhu Yadav today surrendered at the designated Vigilance court and was later released on bail in connection with the multi-crore flood relief scam.
Mr Yadav furnished two sureties of Rs 50,000 each and a personal bail bond of an equal amount. Mr Yadav also submitted his passport in the court of Vigilance judge (in-charge) Ramanand Sharma.
Mr Yadav surrendered following directions of the Patna High Court which, at the time of granting anticipatory bail on last Monday, had asked him to surrender in the lower court and complete the formalities of bail within two weeks.
While granting bail, the High Court had observed that the evidence produced by the vigilance bureau did not prove Mr Yadavs complicity in the flood relief scam.
