Manipur, Nagaland, Pondy register convincing victories

Pondicherry, May 26 (UNI) Manipur and Nagaland boys along with host Pondicherry registered convincing victories in the first round match of the fourth junior national seven-a-side football championship here today.

While Manipur defeated Delhi 11-0, Nagaland trounced Chhattisgarh 7-0. Pondicherry prevailed over Bhilai Steel Plant 7-0.

Boys and girls team from 26 states besides Sri Lanka are taking part in the championship.
