Hurriyat chairman Mirwaiz condemnd killing of tourists

Srinagar, May 26: Chiarman of the moderate Hurriyat Confernce (HC) Mirwaiz Moulvi Omar Farooq today strongly condemned the grenade attack on tourists in which four people from Gujarat were killed and six others were wounded at Hazratbal last eveing.

He said the killing of innocent tourists, including children, was an inhuman act by those who belong to no religion or region.

Mirwaiz said history is witness that people of the Kashmir are known for their hospitality. We respect our guests and tourists, he said and added the incident was very unfortunate.

He said it was a cospiracy to defame the people of Kashmir.

Mirwaiz also condemned the killing of innocent people at Doda and demanded an impartial inqiury into these incidents.
