Hyderabad, May 26 (UNI) Communist Party of India (CPI) State Secretary K Narayana today took objection to the 'undemocratic' attitude of the Andhra Pradesh Government in dealing with the Gangavaram fishermen issue.

Speaking to newsmen here, Dr Narayana said instead of consulting leaders of all parties, the government was filing cases against the Left parties and Opposition leaders.

''The government should withdraw all the cases and call for a all-party meeting to solve the issue. If not, the CPI would be forced to start agitation in Gangavaram against the government,'' he warned.

Referring to the District Cooperative Bank Employees agitation, Dr Narayana said the employees were seeking wage revision which was a genuine demand.

''The government should intervene and call the striking employees for talks and settle the issue,'' he suggested.
