Clement pulls out of French Open with groin injury

PARIS, May 26 (Reuters) Frenchman Arnaud Clement pulled out of the French Open with a groin injury today.

Clement, who was due to play world number one Roger Federer in the first round when the tournament starts on Sunday, told Reuters he had not fully recovered from the injury he sustained last month playing soccer.

He will replaced in the main draw by a lucky loser whose name will be known when the qualifying rounds end tomorrow.
