BJP demands salary payment to newly recruited council staffs

Patna, May 26 (UNI) The BJP has demanded payment of salaries to the newly recruited employees of the Bihar Legislative Council.

Member of the Legislative Council of the party Baleshwar Singh Bharti today said instead of making payments to the staff of the Council, acting Chairman of the Council Dr Arun Kumar had issued show cause notices seeking explanation about the proper formalities which were not completed during their appointment.

Seventy members of the staff were appointed by the then Council Chairman Prof Jabir Hussain two months back.

Mr Bharti has urged Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to immediately intervene into the matter and take steps for payment of the employees .
