SIA offers 26 to 40 per cent discount on air fares from India

New Delhi, May 25 (UNI) Singapore Airlines (SIA) today announced special return fares on economy class to over 12 destinations in the United States, Australia and China from here.

This promotion offers a range of discounts from 26 to almost 40 per cent off the current economy fares. The destinations include Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai in China, Los Angeles and San Francisco in the United States among six other locations in Australia and New Zealand.

The fares do not include travel taxes and surcharges. The bookings for the offer must be made between May 29 and June 30 and is valid for travel out of New Delhi from June 1 to September 30.

Passengers can make the purchases through their travel agents.

SIA operates 47 weekly flights to eight destinations in India: double daily to Mumbai, daily to Delhi and Chennai, five times to Bangalore, four times to Kolkata and Hyderabad and three times each to Ahmedabad and Amritsar.

In addition, its subsidiary regional airline SilkAir operates five flights to Kochi and four flights to Thiruvananthapuram. SIA, a Star Alliance member, flies to 91 destinations in 37 countries and will be the first airline in the world to fly the Airbus A380 later this year.
