Dev to consider larger use of Hindi in official matters

New Delhi, May 25 (UNI) Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Minister Santosh Mohan Dev today said his Ministry would consider implementing larger use of Hindi in official correspondence not only with the Hindi-speaking states but with other states as well.

Mr Dev was responding to suggestions made by members at the first meeting of the reconstituted Hindi Salahkar Samiti of the Ministry.

Mr Dev explained various steps taken by the Ministry in using Hindi in day-to-day official work.

Various PSUs under the Ministry also made presentations to illustrate their contributions towards the use of Hindi in respective organisations.
