Shagun Chowdhary 35th in womens' trap event in Cairo WC

New Delhi, May 24 (UNI) National record holder Shagun Chowdhary was not in her elements and finished a disappointing 35th in the womens' trap event at the ISSF World Cup in Cairo.

She shot a score of 57 with a series of 16,19 and 22, well below her national mark of 61/75 which she set at Kerrville (USA) on May 12.

Another Indian in the fray, Seema Tomar finished 44th with a score of 55 (18,20,17), according to information received here today.

The gold in the event was won by world record holder Zuzana Stefecekova of Slovakia with a shot of 92 (70+22), while Susanne Kiermayer of Germany with a score of 89 (68+21) and Charlotte Kerwood of Great Britain with 86 (70+16) won the silver and bronze respectively.
