Delhi Police to reward man who helped nab chain snatcher

New Delhi, May 24 (UNI) Appreciating exemplary courage and presence of mind displayed in helping apprehend a chain snatcher in Dilshad Garden area of East Delhi on April 21, city police has announced a cash reward for a brave resident, Satish Kumar.

Delhi Lt Governor B L Joshi had asked Delhi Police to publicly recognise and promptly reward the brave act of the young man, an official statement said today.

Accordingly, the police decided to give a reward of Rs 500 to Mr Kumar and honour his act in a district level public meeting to be organised by Delhi Police's New Delhi Range.
