3 killed, 20 BSF men wounded in JK suicide attack

Srinagar, May 23: Three people, including two BSF personnel and a fidayeen were killed and 20 others wounded when the suicide bomber rammed an explosive-laden car into their vehicle on the Airport road here today.

A BSF spokesman told UNI that the suicide bomber rammed his Maruti car into the vehicle carrying about 40-45 personnel at Peerbagh on the heavily-guarded Srinagar-Airport road this evening.

He said one BSF jawan was killed and ten others wounded, some of them critically, in the attack.

However, sources said two BSF men and the suicide attacker were killed and 20 others wounded in the explosion.

The Hizbul Mujahideen has claimed the responsibility for the attack.
