Suryanarayana's 'second wife continues stir

Hyderabad, May 23 (UNI) The agitation by Swapna, who claimed that she is the wife of Hyderabad based Indian telecom engineer Suryanarayana killed by Talibans recently, entered the second day here today.

''My husband's family must accept me and my daughter to their household. I will sit in hunger strike till such a time'' Swapna told the media.

Swapna began her agitation yesterday pitching a tent near the house of her ''in-laws'' at East Anandabagh area, demanding an equal share in the compensation given to Suryanarayana's family.

She came to Hyderabad along with 100 others from Hasanparti in Warangal district and started her agitation. She is demanding a share for her eight-month-old daughter Nitisha's maintenance.

Apart from her daughter she also brought along her brother Ravindra Reddy to support her in the agitation.

Police who were guarding Suryanarayana's house told newsmen that they would not interfere with the agitation as long as it was peaceful.

Suryanarayana's family shut themselves in since yesterday. His father Chandrasekhara Rao had denied any knowledge of 'a second wife of his son'.
