Seekport plans NASDAQ listing within a year

Mumbai, May 23 (UNI) German search engine Seekport Internet Technologies is planning a NASDAQ listing in the next 12 months which will propel it to the league of global search engine majors such as Google, MSN and Yahoo!, stated a press releaes issued here today.

''Seekport is planning for a primary listing on alternative investment market (AIM) in London to raise funds, in six months.

Subsequently, we will plan for a listing on the NASDAQ and we estimate the Company to be listed in another six months,'' said Mr Ranjit Dhuru, Chairman and CEO, Aftek Infosys.

Seekport, which posted revenues of 7.5 million Euros last year, is an associate company of Mumbai-based Aftek Infosys. The latter holds a 33 per cent stake in Seekport and has plans to increase it further, stated the release.
