Kidnapped SSB jawans still untraced

Guwahati, May 23 (UNI) Five kidnapped SSB personnel remained untraced even after arrival of Asom Police and SSB teams in the bordering town of Udalguri.

According to official sources, five SSB jawans were by kidnapped by a group of youth on Monday from the Mora Dhansiri village under Rowta police outpost in Udalguri district.

Along with P Sabisingh, H Lakshap Singh, Thangkolian Viphai and S Amogha Sangtham, SSB cook Krishna Bahadur Chetri was also kidnapped.

A civilian Bubul Kalita, who was kidnapped, was later found dead.

The SSB has been posted in the Indo-Bhutan border. The search operation is on.
