Inter-state hockey meet from May 24

Mumbai, May 23: The Bombay Hockey Association (BHA) is hosting an inter-state hockey championship that will be conducted at the Astro Turf Stadium here from May 24 to May 30.

According to official release here today, teams from Chhatisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Vidarbha, Maharashtra and Mumbai will participate in the meet. The teams have been divided in two groups to play league matches while the top two teams from each group shall play cross knock-out matches in the semifinals.

Rolling trophies will be awarded to winners and runners-up, the release said.
