HC issues notice to TN Govt

Chennai, May 23 (UNI) Madras High Court today issued notice to Tamil Nadu Government on a petition, challenging an order of the Permanent Committee headed by Mr Justice S S Subramani for conducting Common Entrance Test (CET), imposing conditions on Self Financing Professional Colleges to follow the Single Window System (SWS) and admission after following reservation rules.

Mr Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar who issued notice to the Committee headed by Mr Justice S S Subramani and Commissioner of Technical Education, posted to June 12, further hearing of the petition filed by Consortium of Self Financing Professional Arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu represented by its Secretary Dr P Selvaraj.

Meanwhile the judge also permitted the All India Medical and Engineering Colleges Association represented by its President Dr T D Naidu, to implead it in this case.
