Bangladesh PM Khaleda Zia to visit Abu Dhabi

Dhaka, May 23: Bangladesh Prime Minister Khaleda Zia left for Abu Dhabi today on a two-day state visit to the United Arab Emirates at the invitation of UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Manpower export, investment, development assistance and concessional oil procurement are high on her agenda of talks with the UAE leaders, according to the Foreign Ministry official.

Foreign Minister M Morshed Khan, among others, is accompanying the Prime Minister.

On the first day, the Prime Minister will hold official meeting with UAE President in Abu Dhabi this afternoon.

Khaleda Zia is scheduled to return home on Wednesday midnight.
