9 IAS transfered in UP: New DMs for Lucknow, Unnao

Lucknow, May 23 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government today transferred nine Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officers, including posting new district magistrates in Lucknow and Unnao.

Official sources said Mela Officer, Allahabad, Ramendra Nath Tripathi has been made the new DM of Lucknow, while Special Secretary, APC Deepika Duggal would take charge as DM of Unnao.

Home secretary Jagnath Singh has been shifted to silk department in the same capacity, while entertainment tax commissioner Mohan Swarup takes up his place. Special secretary sugar industry department S M Srivastava is the new entertainment tax commissioner.

Director Local bodies Alka Srivasta has been made director women welfare department, while her post would be taken by DM Aligarh Bhuvnesh Kumar.

Anita C Meshram -- on waiting list -- is additional commissioner trade tax at Noida replacing Aparna U, who has been made special secretary, Revenue Department.

The state government also transferred four Provincial Civil Services (PCS) officers.
