69.51 pc of candidates pass SSC exams in Goa

Panaji, May 23 (UNI) As many as 10,954 candidates out of 15,760 who had appeared for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations in Goa, have been declared successful today.

This comprises 69.51 per cent of the candidates appeared for the examinations. Interestingly, both the boys and girls who appeared for the examinations got an equal 63.69 pass percentage.

At the sametime, girls scored the highest 700 and boys 698 out of a total 750 marks, according to the results announced today.

The examinations were conducted by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in March-April this year.
