2 pilgrims killed, 22 injured in road mishap near Kolar

Bangalore, May 23 (UNI) Two piligrims were killed on the spot and 22 injured when a maxi cab in which they were travelling collided with a stone laden-tractor near Mulbagal in Kolar district of Karnataka today.

Police said the maxi cab was proceeding to Tirupati from Udupi when the mishap occurred.

The deceased were identified as Neelu Poojari (55) and Swetha (10), hailing from Ebri village in Udupi district.

The injured were admitted to the Kolar Medical College Hospital.
