Women's cricket junior nationals from tomorrow
Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, May 20 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh will be hosting the Junior National Women's Cricket Championship for Rajiv Gandhi Trophy at Rural Development Trust stadium complex here from May 21 to 25.
The defending champions are playing host after a gap of 13 years. According to the draw released for the nine-team event by Dr J Geetha Reddy, state Minister for Tourism and President of A P Women's Cricket Association, Punjab will meet Jharkand and Mumbai will meet Madhya Pradesh.
Asian cup star, Sindhu of Karnataka, who scored centuries against Sri Lanka and England will be in action at the tournament.
