Jeev cards 71, tied 28th in Munsingwear Open KSB Cup

Okayama, May 20: Jeev Milkha Singh shunned extravaganza and carded a sedate one-under 71 to tie for the 28th place in the penultimate round of the 100 million yen Munsingwear Open KSB Cup here today.

The UBS Asian Tour Order of Merit leader so far has had rounds of 71, 70 and 71 and shares the tied 28th place with eight others at four-under 212 at the Tojigaoka Marine Hills Golf Club.

Jeev mixed two bogeys and three birdies in his average show.

He dropped a shot in the fifth hole but offset it with a birdie in the very next and on his way back, he bogeyed the 16th but slotted a couple of birdies before and after the setback to round off his day's outing.

Kiyoshi Miyazato's sizzling five-under 67 opened up a three-shot lead and he sits pretty at the top at 13-under 203.
