Charges framed against Delhi Policemen for demanding bribe

New Delhi, May 20 (UNI) A special CBI court has framed charges against two city policemen for demanding a bribe to let off an accused in a criminal intimidation case.

Special Judge Sunil Gaur framed charges against sub-inspector Ram Chander and constable Sunil, posted in Tilak Nagar Police Station in West Delhi, for demanding a bribe of Rs 5,000 from one Ajit Singh in July 2004.

The duo had been charged with offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act and Indian Penal Code (IPC).
