Y Sivapunniyam elected as CPI's legislature leader

Chennai, May 19 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (CPI) Legislature Party today elected Mr Y Sivapunniyam as its leader.

While Mr S Gunasekaran was elected as Deputy leader of the party, Mr K Ulaganathan was elected as whip, CPI State unit secretary D Pandian announced after a meeting of the legislature party here.
