Woman dies, 40 others injured in bus-truck collision in Guj

Anand, Gujarat, May 19 (UNI) A woman died on the spot, while 40 others passengers sustained injuries, four of them seriously, when state transport bus collided head-on against a speeding truck on Nadiad-Dakore state highway this morning.

According to police sources here, the incident took place near Pansori Chokdi, about 30 kms from here, early this morning, when the Gujarat State Road and Transport Corporation (GSTRC) bus plying between Batva-Godhra collided head-on against the speeding truck coming from opposite direction.

The deceased has been identfied as Kavita Kamlesh.

While injured have been admitted at civil hospital at Nadiad.
