Two jawans injured in an encounter at Doda

Jammu, May 19 (UNI) Two jawans were injured in an encounter between the Army and militants at Bahu Top under Gandoh police station in the Doda district today, official sources said.

During a search operation, an encounter took place between militants and security forces. During the operation, two jawans of Territorial Army received injuries and were identified as Azad Ahmed and Talab Hussain.

Sources said one militant also sustained bullet injuries but he managed to flee with the help of his associates, taking advantage of darkness.

In another search operation carried out at Budhal Gali area under Rajgarh police station in Ramban, a militant hideout was busted and 220 AK rounds, two AK magazines and four SLR magazines recovered.
