Two die after being hit by lorry

Arambagh, May 19: Two motorcycle-borne men died on the spot after being hit by a lorry in Balarampur area in Hooghly district in the wee hours today.

Police said the accident occurred shortly after midnight adding the victims were in their thirties.

They said the truck driver fled with the vehicle soon after the mishap.

The bodies had been sent post-mortem. A case had been registered.
