TN Govt reshuffles police officials
Chennai, May 19 (UNI) In an yet another reshuffle of the State Police officials, the Tamil Nadu Government today transferred Sangaram Jangid, Inspector General of Police, North Zone, Chennai and posted him as Additional Commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai, in place of T K Rajendran.
Mr Rajendran has been transferred and posted as Inspector General of Police, Vigilance and Anti-corruption, special investigation cell, Chennai, in place of K Radhakrishnan, posted as IGP, North Zone Chennai.
Mr S K Upadhyay, Additional Director General of Police Enforcement, Chennai, transferred and posted as Director Vigilance and Anti-corruption, Chennai, in place of G Nanchil Kumaran who is posted in place of Mr Upadhyay.
An official press release here said Mr Narinderpal Singh, formerly Commissioner of Police, Madurai city, is posted as Joint Director, Vigilance and Anti-corruption, Chennai, in the existing vacancy.
