Sensex plunge another 500 pts to below 11,000 level

Mumbai, May 19 (UNI) Markets continued to fall and BSE Sensex fell by more than 500 points again, going below 11,000 level around 1440 hrs, due to selling pressure triggered by weaker global markets.

The 30 share BSE Sensitive Index (Sensex) touched a low of 10,892 points as compared to the last close of 11,391 on the back of sustained pressure from global markets.
