SBI makes Rs 4406.67 crore in 2005-06
Kolkata, May 19 (UNI) State Bank of India has made a profit of Rs 4406.67 crore for 2005-06 recording a marginal growth of 2.37 per cent primarily because of depreciation on investment.
Announcing the results of India's largest Public Sector bank for 05-06, SBI Chairman A K Purwar said here today that the operating profit of the bank stood at Rs 11299.23 crores as compared to 10990.36 crores in the previous fiscal.
