Road mishap claims eight in Bihar

Samastipur, May 19 (UNI) Eight members of a marriage party were killed and 22 injured when their bus fell into a roadside ditch near Kushari Chowk under Chakmahesi police station of Samastipur district today.

Police said the bus carrying a marriage party was on way from Morai to Sakhoura village when the mishap occurred as the driver lost control over the vehicle.

The injured had been admitted to different hospitals at Pusa, Samastipur and Darbhanga.

The condition of seven people was stated to be critical, police added.
