Pak asks US to help facilitate efforts to resolve Kashmir issue
Islamabad, May 19 (UNI) Pakistan today asked the US to facilitate the ongoing efforts aimed to resolve the Jammu and Kashmir issue.
''We want the US to facilitate (efforts) in resolving the Kashmir issue,'' Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmud Kasuri said, speaking in the Senate.
He reiterated that the issues of Jammu and Kashmir, Siachen and Sir Creek need to be resolved and progress has been made towards this.
''There has been movement (on these three issues). Although it is slow, but to say that there is no progress is wrong,'' Mr Kasuri said.
''History has shown that Pakistan-India relations can take a dip.
There are difficulties in any relations. There are difficulties (in relations with India) and we have fought three wars,'' the Minister noted.
