No vendetta against Chautala: Hooda

Karnal, May 19 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupender Singh Hooda today denied allegations that his government was acting against his predecessor and Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) supremo Om Prakash Chautala out of political vendetta.

Mr Hooda's denial came in the wake of an allegation by Rajya Sabha MP Ajay Singh Chautala, son of Mr Om Prakash Chautala, that his family was being persecuted by the Congress government.

Talking to reporters at the Karnal aerodrome, he said the CBI had registered an FIR in a disproportionate assets case against Mr Chautala. ''CBI is an independent agency and will unearth nothing but the truth.'' Regarding Mr Ajay Chautala's statement that he would expose the ''corruption'' of the Congress leaders within a month, the CM retorted that he should first come clean of the CBI enquiry rather than ''worrying'' about others.
