Nitish government's failure exposed : LJP

Patna, May 19 (UNI) LJP MLC Sanjay Singh today said the Nitish Kumar goverment's failure has been exposed following his incapability to provide basic facilities to the people and contain the growing number of killings in Bihar.

Mr Singh, also the Bihar party spokesperson, told the mediapersons here that the panchayat election in the state witnessed heavy losses of human lives but the Home Secretary Afzal Amanullah said that it was the price paid for democracy.

He said the government failed 'miserably' in keep its pre-poll promise to establish 'Sushashan' (good governance) in the state.

The LJP leader said that people were not getting even basic faclities like water and electricity. Similar situtaion was prevailing in the road sector, he added.

He said massacre of nine people in Nalanda district was an open testimony to the government's 'inefficiency' even in protecting human lives.

He said that state party president Ghulam Rasool Bailiyawi and former MLA of Asthawa Satish Kumar would visit Gaunachak village under Sarmera police station area in Nalanda district tomorrow and meet the bereaved families.

Mr Singh said that at least 35 people had been killed in the state during the last three days.
