Nine criminals arrested, firearms recovered in Bihar

Rohtas, May 19 (UNI) Nine criminals were arrested and firearms recovered from their possession at Ghuruki village under Bhanas police out post of the district today.

District Superintendent of Police N H Khan said acting on a tip off, a police team raided the Bhanas village and arrested the criminals.

Firearms recovered from the possession of the criminals included six rifles, three double barrel guns, two guns and several live cartridges.

The criminals were planning to sabotage polling during the ongoing panchayat elections, the S P said.
