NIC held responsible for delay in PU results
Bangalore, May 19 (UNI) Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister Basavaraj Horatti today blamed the National Informatics Centre (NIC) for the delay in announcing the second year PUC results.
Talking to reporters here, he said the results were postponed thrice due to the technical snag in the software developed by the NIC for the purpose, causing anxiety among over four lakh students.
The NIC was in the process of rectifying the snag following the Education Department's request to this effect.
Mr Horatti said the rectifying work was nearing completion and the results would be announced soon. He, however, did not specify any date for the declaration of results.
