Medicos, scribes, cops injured in clash

Patna, May 19 (UNI) Some medical students, journalists and police personnel sustained injuries, when pro-reservation students taking out a rally, suddenly attacked the mediapersons here today, the police said.

The students supporting reservation issue had taken out a rally this forenoon in the state capital. Suddenly, they indulged in a scuffle with the mediapersons covering the event. The students also manhandled some of the police personnel present there.

The police said several mediapersons and police personnel were injured seriously in the ''unprovoked attack'' by the agitating pro- reservationists.

Later the police resorted to lathicharge to disperse the mob leaving several medicos injured.
