Medicos journalists and cops injured in clash

Patna, May 19: Several photojournalists, lensmen, police personnel and medicos sustained injuries during clashes among the protagonists of reservation in higher education and scribes in Bihar today.

The students supporting reservation issue had taken out a rally this forenoon in the state capital.

The agitated Medicos suddenly were indulged in scuffle with the mediapersons covering their rally. Soon after the agitationists manhandled some of the police personnel present there to man the law and order situation.

The police said several mediapersons and police peprsonnel were injured seriously in the unprovoked attack of the agitating pro- reservationists.

Later the police resorted to lathicharge to disperse the mob leaving several medicos injured.
