Juniper Networks outlines app acceleration plan

Bangalore, May 19: Juniper Networks today outlined its strategy to address the evolving application performance issues reated by data centre consolidation, server centralisation and globally distributed users.

Leveraging its core competencies in application acceleration and security, as well as its Enterprise Infranet framework, the company was delivering a comprehensive, pragmatic and systematic approach to accelerate more applications, increase reach and scalability, and leverage visibility and reporting, a company release here said.

In a related announcement, Juniper Networks introduced the latest release of the WX Central Management System to address visibility and reporting requirements.

''Many organisations are centralising their data centres to enforce tighter security, simplify regulatory compliance and gain better control over corporate assets,'' company Director, Emerging Technologies, APAC, Simon Newstead said.
