Health official convicted in bribe case

Hyderabad, May 19 (UNI) The Special Judge for Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB), today convicted M A Basith, a junior Assistant of Karim Nagar District Hospital for accepting a bribe of Rs 800 seven years ago.

The Judge sentenced the accused to undergo one year rigorous imprisonment and a pay fine of Rs 800.

The ACB officials trapped Basith when he was accpeting the bribe on May 7, 1999, an official release said here.
